You can permanently delete your Arkive account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways to do this — directly within the app, or by contacting our support team.
⚠️ This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, all your pet profiles, health records, photos, reminders, and account data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days. This data cannot be recovered.
Delete from within Arkive
The fastest way to delete your account is directly from the Arkive app. Follow these steps:
Request deletion by email
If you no longer have access to the app or are unable to delete your account from within the app, you can request deletion by emailing our support team.
What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed within 30 days:
- Your email address and account credentials
- All pet profiles (names, species, photos, morph data)
- All health records (vet visits, medications, vaccinations, weight logs)
- All feeding and care logs
- All reminders and notifications
- All uploaded photos stored in Arkive
- Breeding project data
- Household and member data
- All app preferences and settings
What data may be retained
After account deletion, we may retain certain limited data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
- Anonymized, non-identifiable crash logs and error reports (retained for up to 90 days)
- Transaction records required for tax and legal compliance (retained as required by applicable law)
This retained data cannot be linked back to your identity after account deletion.
